The young ‘uns just aren’t going down the route of apprenticeships anymore. Hard to blame them, the pay is shocking, I think electricians get paid more for their apprenticeship? Is the drive there to encourage people to get into motor mechanics and panel beating, I’m not sure, to be honest.
