Gen Z committed to trades but barriers exist

A new survey by DeWalt found that both the enthusiasm and challenges faced by high school students pursuing careers in skilled trades are high. The Gen Z in the Skilled Trades report found a generation optimistic about their career prospects but grapples with significant hurdles, including limited access to training programs. The survey found that more than two-thirds (68 per cent) of students in skilled trades programs are fully committed to their future careers.
