While the N20 never made it to a Mini vehicle, the new B48 retains most of the main features of the N20, touting a twin-scroll supercharger, double VANOS variable valve timing, Valvetronic variable valve lift, and direct injection, making it worthy of note when looking at the B48. This can cause issues when testing for emissions.
